In ancient Greece, women often wrapped linen on wood and used it as tampons.
The catheter-type tampons were invented by Dr. Earle Haas in Denver, USA in 1929, patented in 1931, and launched in the United States in 1936. Another theory is that tampons were designed by a female gynecologist in West Germany in 1950. Since the use of tampons does not affect clothing and exercise, they are loved by many people and are used more by European and American women. Since Asians do not like suppositories, tampons are rarely used by women in Asian countries.
